Issue 02: Fall 2021

Dear Reader,

As you enter Issue 02, keep in mind the shifting of seasons, of atmosphere, into the autumn season. Remember the stories told and forgotten as you've aged, the things you've lost and gained, and how each rite of passage is a fragment of the human condition. Fall reminds us of that short, fleeting period of plentiful harvest that follows the ruthless toil of summer sun and predates the numbing abeyance of winter. It is during that harvest that we realize deeper truths about ourselves and others, who we are now, and who we are to become. From cultural identity to individual identity, from reflecting upon childhood to rethinking relationships, Issue 02 is a rite of passage in and of itself through human ambivalence. I hope you leave this collection of literature and art having discovered something new within yourself.

Happy reading!
