Artist's Statement

I then thought that I was drawing a fantasy that suddenly came to me at night, but the project grew and became a kind of ghost of myself ... I painted based on the memories of Moscow, about the situation that I once experienced, this is a personal story that I turned into a myth ... It seemed to me that the pandemic itself was a ghost, but the fact that I was drawing a simple fairy tale into which you could open the door... One phrase itself, like a Vision, haunts me, here it is: "When the lie closes its arms, there will be no more truth ..." I think that this is like a kind of prophecy that others need to remember ...

Sirin and birds

Paper is like sharp rocks that cut through your fingers ... What a pity that I died a long time ago and can no longer breathe and live ...

Being (looking)

You are the only one, one against everyone and everything, and you must remember this! Do not forget! Lower your visor over your eyes and draw your sword into battle! You must remember this, and trust no one!.. Trust and kindness will destroy you!...

Nothing that can be called scary, sad, alive or dead ... I felt joyful and I screamed, I don’t remember what I screamed, but it was so good for me to realize it, joyfully ... So joyfully that I closed my eyes and went back collecting thoughts and picking up the lost...

Screams. destroyed

I'm like that bird, which both wings were washed off and which can only scream helplessness while wallowing in the sand... And what should I do...? How?.. How can you go on living when everything inside is burned and withered, when even the last shoot is trampled and torn to pieces, when even everything higher inside ....
